Janine Bernhardt
Janine Bernhardt is a research associate at the German Youth Institute (DJI) in Munich, Germany. She has an interdisciplinary background in sociology, psychology and economics. Starting from a background in labor market research she gradually developed a strong interest in the work-family interface. In her current work she studies how organizational culture and family policies affect the gendered division of paid and unpaid work in parenting couples. Besides her research, she is engaged in knowledge transfer between researchers, policy makers, and practitioners.
